I had aa similar problem with a car years ago. It was the fuel tank vent that was blocked. After running for a while the vacuum formed in the tank prevented fuel reaching the pump. After switching off, the air gradually leaked back into the tank, allowing the engine to start again.

One of the best channels of it's kind. Unlike a certain other channel that put enough videos in to earn himself a decent workshop and a posh lift and hasn't done any content since. Talking of workshops, what's happened to your new one?
