  Good to see the honest cost numbers, owning old cars is an expensive hobby, very difficult to recover the true costs.

  I spent the last 20 months working on my 1971 DSpecial. I took everything apart, with a new paint job. It’s ready for the road again. Electrical is the most pain. Wish this video came out 2 years ago.

  I think what I enjoy most about these shows is the skilled workers (like that guy who did the roof) talking to us mere (office working) mortals about what they do. Let’s be honest, we always deep down wonder if what we do has outcome. Those workers know what they do does.

  I love how happy the mechanic was working on this car, he loved restoring that dash. &nbsp;Someone got a good deal on this. &nbsp;G_d bless.

  Absolutely love those cars but when you are that old, you will have refurbishing to do so it needs to be budgeted from the get go. There&apos;s just no way around it. Thanks to all of those who keep them roadworthy or protected.

  Never had either of these but did own a &nbsp;BX 1600 petrol , loved it to bits , best riding car i ever had , used to be everywhere now rare as hens teeth
