I disagree; for me, the second half of the album represents a peak of complexity and atmosphere in music as a whole, and even though the songs are incredibly long, they never lose a single ounce of energy whenever I listen to them

Masterpiece album. My favorites on this album are Prayers for Rain, The Same Deep Water as You, and Disintegration. That whole stretch.
