  Dobostorta has no relation to drums. Dobos was the name of the pastry chef who created it first.This name really means drummer.

  Yummy dessert (though not everyone likes it): curd cheese dumplings with sour cream and powdered sugar (túrógombóc). Lovely cafés/pastry shops: Művész Café, Gerbaud Café, and Kaffa.

  Food recommendation for next time: Hungarian cold sour cherry soup<br>As for the pálinka, the one you get in restaurants with around 40% alcohol in it is made for tourists. The one that we hungarians drink is much stonger and homemade. It can be around 80-90% alcohol depending on what you like :) <br><br>Enjoy the city, i&apos;m glad you liked it &nbsp;enough to revisit!

  Hello! Emlitetted a süteményeket hiányát. Ezeket leginkább &quot;Cukrászda&quot; nevű helyeken kaphatsz, rengeteg kínálatban. A legismertebbek a turisták számára a Gerbeaud Cukrászat, ez a belvárosban van, a másik a Budai Várban található a Ruszwurm. Természetesen sok máshol is. Kiemelném az &quot;Ország Tortája&quot; süteményeket, amelyeket egy évben egyszer rendeznek az államalapítás emlékére. Kizárólag különleges torták versenyezhetnek, amelyek még nem ismert ízekkel rendelkeznek. Nagyon sok féle készül, de sajna csak egy nyertes lehet, pedig mind nagyon fantázia dús elképzelések és ízharmóniával rendelkezik. Sok kellemes élményt kívánok minden vendégünknek! 😋
