My husband and I recently vacationed in the city and it was my responsibility to "plan our visit." I was overwhelmed trying to plan for the three day visit (I am not the planner of the family). My AAA agent did not provide much help as he only recommended I visit the Viator website. I needed a specific day by day of what to do and see. I stumbled upon the Stuffed Cabbage YouTube channel. This video gave me exactly what I needed a specific itinerary for each day. I wrote everything down and used it as my daily agenda. We also dined at several of the places mentioned in this video for example Viviana. I did watch how to use public transportation in Budapest which aided in our trip. Stuffed Cabbage, you gave me the clear instructions on how to manage the city and the confidence to do so. I really appreciate your help and incite on the city of Budapest and its peoples. I have been telling all of my friends to visit Budapest for it is beautiful, historic, easy to get around due to the fact people speak English and more importantly (I found) the people to be super friendly and helpful. My husband and I will be back to visit. Koszonom, Stuffed Cabbage.

It's clear that you're a true Budapest expert, because your video guides and city tours are by far the best!

Great video! Visiting Budapest for the first time, I followed your guides for the most part and had an amazing trip. After the thermal bath, I walked through the park, found a cool musical playground, and grabbed a fantastic lunch at Paprika Vendéglő. Budapest is such a vibrant, welcoming, and affordable city!

Thanks to stuffed cabbage for providing this itinerary plus your other videos to help us navigate. We were in Europe for 16 days recently and spent 5 of the days in Budapest. We loved it and will be back. We followed much of your itinerary and advice which made the trip more enjoyable… and less work for us to plan. We had an incredible time exploring your great city. The subway system was awesome also.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Learning the ins and outs of the train system was tricky so I usually went to talk to the OBB agent which was usually more helpful. One hiccup there was riding from Budapest to Vienna on a packed train. Had to stand for 3+ hours (it was a holiday). So the next train we used, I paid a little extra for assigned seats. When the train arrived, the car number did not exist… so sit anywhere but then got booted out by someone who actually had that seat. That’s all minor stuff we will keep in mind for our next visit!

As Magyar living in the USA I was confused about the food prices until I realized the cost were for a day for the 2 of you. Miss my homeland very much and thank you so much for taking me back home. By the way your wife is nagyon szép. Köszönöm szépen a videót

We had a 3-day Budapest trip planned but after watching your videos decided to extend it to 5 days. Just love your videos--they are much better, more inclusive, more comprehensive and more objective than just an average tourist´s.

I have just finished a 4 day trip to Budapest and I must say how easy it all was thanks to the hours I spent following your content. Everything from site seeing, food recommendations, how to use the Budapest public transport and also clicking some cool pictures was super super easy because I had seen the detailed explanations from your videos. Thank you so very much team Stuffedcabbage.
Oh one mistake I made although you had warned against it was buying souvenirs at the Central market hall. Fridge magnets that I bought for 1500 HUFT were available for 400 HUFT at Szetendre !!! So that's one trap i would suggest others not to fall for.

Perfect timing for me as I'm in Budapest now for 2 weeks (but doing lots of day trips elsewhere, I'm on a train back from Esztergom as I type this). I'll watch this tonight. Thanks so much for your extremely high-quality, entertaining and quirky videos! Your top 10 Hungarian dishes video is the reason I chose Hungary for my holidays this year, I'm working my way around the étkezdék...
