  You left out an important story. For the first few years the Macintosh existed, it required using a Lisa to program it. Macs couldn't program Macs in sophisticated computer languages until the Mac Plus was introduced in 1986.

  If you&apos;re amazed by Apple in late 80&apos;s and early 90&apos;s it means that you haven&apos;t used Amiga.<br>I wish I live in timeline where Amiga survived instead of Apple and others.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0E5UbBLeAgw&amp;t=1110">18:30</a> the drives for the CBM PET i used at school pre 1983 also used variable speed drives so that there were more sectors on the outer tracks of each diskette. &nbsp;And they had a 6502 to control the drive (and another 6502 to communicate with the computer vis the IEEE488 bus.

  and yet after Jobs booted out of Apple, he goes onto form NeXt and goes onto making same mistakes the Lisa did. astronomically high selling price, woefully underperforming exactly like the Lisa

  Lisa did not have preemptive multitasking. &nbsp;It used cooperative multitasking. and only for select tasks. &nbsp;True multitasking was not even added to the Mac until Multi Finder was introduced in System 6.

  The 65xx/65xxx CPU family is a dead end. Lisa&apos;s MMU is a segmentation model instead of a paged MMU. The 1985 era Intel 386 has a built-in paged MMU in addition to the 286 protected mode&apos;s segmented MMU.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0E5UbBLeAgw&amp;t=343">5:43</a> - No, this is inaccurate; computers of the day weren’t confined to only text displays, Apple’s own Apple ][,][+, //e had low and hi-res graphics, and so did competitors such as the Atari 400/800, The Commodore Vic-20, and the TI 99/4, though the effective resolutions and bit depths varied. As for Steve Jobs, well, he should have remembered it was Wozniak that got him to where he was, otherwise, he’d probably be working at HP, Dell, or IBM making beige boxes. 😂
