My favorite dip exercise is tucking my knees into the chest, lean forward a bit, then proceeding to perform the workout. My son and I call them, “cannonballs”. Super fun and we REALLY feel it in the chest. Thanks for the content brother!!

Weighted push-ups as shown with the dip belt on dip bars have been my staple for over a year now (I implemented them after one of Daniel's videos btw). After a proper bulk over that same year (+16 kg) and no chest isolation exercise, my chest is arguably my most developed muscle, so you can't go wrong with them, just pull the dip belt up to your mid back (you don't need to go higher) and your core stability will be fine, the chest will take the load. The argument that dips can be progressed forever applies to push-ups too, so long as you got weight to add to your belt, you can progress. What I like about them is that as Daniel says in the video, they're easier on your joints (weighted dips hurt my right collarbone) and you don't need to overthink stability, just keep your core straight and you're set. Also, because you can go deep if you're on dip bars or equivalent, which not everyone can with dips because of joint discomfort, you put your chest in a stretched position that is best for hypertrophy and man, when you go up on those last 3 reps of a set, your triceps are on fire!

Both. I retired from benching and doing one arm push-ups and do ring dips to help get into ring muscle ups

My program for chest and tricep (no gym):

3x12 dips for lower chest
3x15 push ups for middle chest
3x15 push ups with feet on the higher ground for upper chest

Perform each exercise slowly and in a controlled manner, executing both the negative and positive phases and extending your arms at the elbows at the end of the positive phase.

After resistance training for 45+yrs, I've really grown to love and respect push-ups and neutral grip inverted rows.
