  Kris!!! I have an UPDATE for you! You posted a video reading my Reddit post 12 days ago (it was the last one you read). It was the story that my husband cheated on me because his coworker “got in his head” haha. I just wanted to say that my husband and I are getting a divorce 🎉 hearing you read it caught me by surprise while I was cleaning the house I just froze.   Grandma wanted you to have the ring so you should have the ring, end of story for sure. Brother’s a cheap skate and doesn’t wanna spend his own money. Nothing quite like a bond with Grandma, never give that ring up ever ever

  The issue I have with this first story is the brother saying I want it to stay in the family. Well your wife can leave at any point in time and take that ring with her and it wouldn&apos;t be in the family anymore. At least with her the rightful owner regardless if she gets divorced or not or if she gets married it will be in the family.

Like... you both just want the same thing, someone is selfish for not giving into you? I would say person A is more selfish because they want to take it away from someone that alreasy has it.

  I was in a similar situation to the OP in the last story and i have a few insights. When one person tries to open a closed marriage/relationship they just want permission to cheat plain and simple. The reason the OP&apos;s wife got so uncharacteristically angry was because she (and presumably bf feeding her the lines) had come up with this perfect solution to the problem. If OP agrees to an open marriage then she doesn&apos;t need to feel guilty about cheating, she gets to keep her bf and her husband and in perfect fantasyland every wins (except OP). When OP didn&apos;t agree to it the reality brought the fantasy crashing down, she was cheating, she&apos;d have to choose and she&apos;d have to lose something. So in that moment her husband&apos;s refusal to go along with the plan was the one thing preventing her perfect solution, denying her her perfect fantasy. Which is why she lashed out. But my final insight is if someone is already working out the logistics of sleeping with someone else, even if they haven&apos;t yet they relationship is over. Because they&apos;ve moved past the &quot;should i&quot; stage and are at the &quot;how can i&quot; stage. Furthermore and this is just my personal opinion, if someone is capable of lying to your face you can never trust that person. And without trust a relationship is dead.
