Katie had a weak heart & would have become dependent on her twin, with a strong heart, draining her & giving them both a life without quality & a very short life. <br><br>Anyone commenting that they know what they'd do in this situation after a video, better than their parents who were tormented over the decision & made the ultimate choice (which was HIGHLY recommended by docs overall, for a variety of reasons) needs a serious reality check.

I understand completely why the parents chose to seperate them. They wanted their daughters to feel independent, pursue their own dreams, have the chance to fall in love and be in a relationship, study different things. They wanted to give their daughters the most opportunity that they could.
