It's funny cause a big part of why I started making my game was a serious lack of innovation from AAA. I missed innovation and figured it's up to small groups and studios to push this industry forward. Good luck to all my fellow indie devs trying to create something new!

That moment when a random video pops up in your feed, makes you subscribe, and then your game gets mentioned 😄 (Tap Tap Loot dev here)
Thanks so much for including our game in your list! Great job!
Fun fact: our first game was actually a ball kicking roguelike called Footgun: Underground, because I loved that mechanic so much.

This is going to both encourage me and overwhelm me at the same time. Still, it’s certainly a fun watch.

33:46 Cane as a pogo is being compared to shovel knight instead of scrooge mcduck, history is dead

Also, in the section with the game about doors, you say the exact same sentence twice in a row.

Damn, and here I am designing multiple new mechanics for my indie games. Guess you’ll have to make another one of these at some point!

2025 GOTY The alters mentioned!!!!

Also, need to mention that technically the day doesn't "end" at 8 PM. At 8 PM you get "tired" which makes work take twice as long.
At 9 PM you start accumulating radiation if you're outside.
Every minute you stay up past 11 PM you wake up later on the next day.
And then at 4 AM you pass out.
And I like this system because working becomes increasingly inconvenient instead of just stopping you from playing the game.
