  Every time gameranx makes a video about genius mechanics, I am legally obligated to complain about Warner Bros. patenting the Nemesis System and letting it rot.<br>Imagine how incredible RPGs would be today if developers were actually allowed to use a modernized Nemesis System

  The standoff mechanic in Ghost Of Tsushima. And bonus points for terrifying enemies in your vicinity that haven&apos;t been cut to ribbons. Oh! The mikiri counter in Sekiro. One of the best combat mechanics in gaming history as far as I&apos;m concerned

  Well, you just got Gothic a purchase! Like, literally, as someone who hasn&apos;t played the OG Gothic, and as someone that LOVES Flame Mage in Skyrim, that&apos;s RIGHT up my alley, and I&apos;m going ALL in for magic in Gothic.
