  Older brother core is quite simple - it was created guys in their teens or 20s who just started getting their own income so they got to curate their space with the stuff they love. It felt cool to those who where younger and yet to have their own purchasing power so it felt like an avenue for freedom of expression plus a way to experience things your parents probably wouldn&apos;t allow so you had to be secretive about it, adding another layer of enjoyment. While I am a older brother, my brother is only 2 years younger so we essentially got to create our own &quot;older brother style&quot; together which led to some awesome memories and created a bond we will always have.

  As someone who was in their teens in the 2010s. Although it was weird, it still seemed like a much simpler time than now, social media was around but I find it was never as overwhelming as it is today.

  The older brother core images are almost exactly what my older brother was like in the 2010s. I don&apos;t why that specific shade of green is so evocative to me, but I would say it seemed to be the colour that shops decided was &apos;the&apos; colour for boys that age.

  2016 is probably the last year I feel any sense of &apos;nostalgia&apos; I guess. Maybe even a little earlier than that like 2013. 2017 was the year I finished high school and I already knew things were changing a lot including my personal interests. I still feel more nostalgic for the 2000s era media and music tbh but the one really good thing about the 2020s is that I can look back on everything I miss using the technology we have.
