Speaking as someone who's made their living using CAD and who is now building a pocket cruiser, I am frankly in awe of both your woodworking skills and your CAD skills. Hats off to you.

Great job explaining the ins and outs of this process. Even the what to look out for and the troubles of what one could encounter.  Nicely edited the video never like dragged on. Thumbs up for putting another high quality and informative video.

I’m no woodworker or boat builder but love to watch the combination of modern tech and traditional boat building techniques come together - this feeds my engineering mind

Wow Dan, that is going to be beautiful! Excellent work on your part to get the process dialed in for the CNC method you're using.

Amazing to see the "jig-saw" pieces drop into place through the use of CAD, CNC, creativity, passion, an attention to detail, explanation…. Thank you so much.

It will be interesting to see how well the planks fit on the other side. In theory the idea of flattening the CAD curves on one side and using it to cut planks for both sides should work perfectly, but only if the build is as symmetrical as the CAD model. Personally I would offer up the planks on the other side before declaring the experiment a success and continuing with more cutting.

Try a carbide tipped bandsaw blade with very low tooth count. One tooth per 2 centimeters. Tune up your guide blocks or even upgrade them. You will be amazed at the difference the blade will make. Your blade wondered due to too many teeth and was dull. Love your project, thanks for sharing your craftsmanship.

Will be interesting to see how the planks higher up fit, weather the slight differences from where you have to tweak the fit of the planks in each level start to add up or if it doesn’t matter that much!
