Your comment about a great flood, and how even gilgamesh had mentions of a great flood is interesting, but as it stands there is not a shred of evidence for anything of such a massive scale happening. Nearly all cultures which have flood myths had coicidentally lived near places which do flood, and especially specific places have shown evidence of truly impressive floods within those regions that caused massive devastation which maybe the origin of many of these myths believing the whoke world destroyed.

I find it funny how often people jump into the ''its a vampire'' excuse as if there could'nt be dozens of other explanations

War is not a human creation. Ants have war. They've been around more than 2x as long as us. Chimps also have war. We may be the most noticeable when it comes to war, but we are not the only ones, and we definitely aren't the first to wage war upon this planet. Hell we weren't even the first to use tools or fire

At the beginning of the vdeo you're probably thinking aboyt Burke and Hare, they would "donate" people they killed to a doctor who was studying that stuff during the victorian times, when one of them died the same doctor was alowed to do an autopsy on them

There is no evidence of a global, huge flood. But, there have been countless localized floods of pretty much any waterway/source, and is probably where most cultures flood myths come from as most human settlements and civilizations were next to bodies of water and/or waterways. And these flood myths were important because that water was the source of life basically, food and water, agriculture and growth. There are those that claim that the end of the ice age caused a great flood and that is what all these myths point to, but it wasn't a great sudden flood. It was slow, at its fastest rate I think maybe close to an inch, a year, but was mostly just centimeters a year. Over decades you would notice the water rising, but it would not be a great flood. More like, oh, we need to move farther away from shore, the water is encroaching. Nothing violent or disrupting to the point of what these myths suggest, unlike localized flash flooding which are more likely what these myths are about.

4:11 not to go "uhm actually" and haven't watched far enough to see if someone in chat said it already, but from my understanding it wasn't really the medical students that went to steal the bodies from graves, it was grave robbers that did that and then sold the bodies.

Always nice to see more people watching Milo! Can never have enough reactions to these.
