  Key replacement for $200. For a 2024 GL350 key fob was $250 and programming $375.

  What I didn’t see coming was the MOT failure of a rear subframe of my 2012 E220 saloon in 2019 - up to that point I had owned the car for 8 years without any major issues. It was perfectly maintained and driven with care. I asked to inspect the sub fame and the original paint job left an awful lot to be desired. It was missing in places, very thin in others and overall not the standard one would expect from Mercedes. It was expensive to replace and after that my love for the car died, what other hidden issues were there. I sold it and moved to the GLE350 which to date has been a superb car to drive. I don’t think I was the only one to suffer that subframe failure!

  4Matic equipped MBs often come with different tire sizes front vs. rear. The 4Matic system does NOT require all four tires to be the same size.

  2010 C180 (W204), 125.000 Mi (200.000 Km): blower motor perished. Common defect on this model.

  20k kms on a c43 amg 2021. Engine mount snapped. All 4 recommended replacing plus transmission mount. Aka $3 thousands dollars later.

  Read the log book.. that will tell you what your car is.. especially in the UK.. it states exactly what model it is.. 😊 and the data card for a British mercedes is a yellow booklet.. which mysteriously goes missing on secondhand cars.. weird that but I still got mine and my car is 10 years old and I still got the yellow book to go with it. Plus all the information that&apos;s been done to my car since it was brought to this country.. including 10 US Mercedes-Benz servicing and all repairs done so far by a Mercedes main dealership. 😊

  2014 w204 69k miles,front offside lower suspension arm needed replaced,rocker cover gasket leaking oil and injector seals done too,oil cooler housing replaced,broken as it’s cheap plastic and doesn’t like heat,needs a anti roll bar boot,all before 70k and expensive to fix,car will be gone before next MOT.
