This game feels like such a love letter to Clone Wars fans, made by people who also probably grew up fans of the show themselves, so I implore you to give The Clone Wars show another try. I know I know, "it gets better in later seasons" is not what anyone wants to hear these days because long shows are such a commitment, but it really does get so much better as the seasons go by in both writing and animation quality (and if you like Bad Batch, that's where it heads in terms of quality, if not even better than TBB by that final astounding season that leads right into Revenge of the Sith). We start to get more cohesive longer story arcs instead of hopping all over the place like the first season or two, it introduces a ton of concepts that are mentioned in this game (the very dark Umbara arc is pivotal background info to a lot of missions in Zero Company and is a quintessential clone storyline), and the show does absolute WONDERS for the character of Anakin. The version of Anakin in this game that you rightly commented on feeling like a different person than the movies is absolutely true, because they spent so much more time writing his growth for the show, and the same voice actor who spent years growing with him in the show is the one in this game, getting to portray him at his full power right before his downfall in Revenge of the Sith. Most of the love for the character of Anakin from the fanbase is rooted in the extra work they did for him in the The Clone Wars, because Attack of the Clones Anakin's writing was... really not it. 😅 Anyway, long ramble over. There's just so much good lore there, and so many fun characters introduced that continue to pop up in later shows/games/etc. Please try it again some day when you have the time! 🥺🙏
