  I played most of the early ones you talked about on Sonic Mega Collection and now i see why they seemed so underwhelming back then. I never knew they were meant for handheld

  Use to play sonic x on leapfrog when I was younger, it was certainly an experience.

  God, I had Sonic Rivals as a kid, and while I agree with you that the story is wonky and weird, I played the crap out of it. Nostalgia tells me it wasn&apos;t nearly that bad, but the one thing I remember having a huge issue with was the fact that trying to unlock all the cards and collectibles was frustrating. I can&apos;t remember if it was because there were certain win conditions to unlock them or if you had to beat the stages on higher difficulties while it spiked unfairly (or at least it would&apos;ve seemed that way to my video game deprived, young and dumb self), but I ended up never getting everything even though I beat the game over and over several times before I accidentally destroyed my PSP.
