If you are noticing audio sync issues, it is because of YouTube’s new “feature” called Stable Volume. It’s automatically turned on and can desync a lot of videos.
Turn it off in the settings of this video to fix the problem :)

Burt Lancaster was just magic on this.

"It was like coming this close to your dreams and then watch them brush past you like a stranger in a crowd."

"Son, if I'd only gotten to be a doctor for five minutes...now that would have been a tragedy."

The line " Dad can we have a catch?" has been making grown men tear up since 1989.

Uniforms are dated because they are the 1919 Chicago White Sox.

"you were good" was the last words spoken to the great Burt Lancaster in a movie. In such a career as his, what a beautiful ending to it! favorite part of any movie

My favorite thing about this movie is that Moonlight Graham was a real person. He got one at bat in the big leagues, and then was a children's doctors for 5 decades. What an absolute legend.

Correction: He actually never got to bat, Thanks @CraigKostelecky.
