  This episode was so good to hear. &nbsp;My son was raised in a Christian home, was baptized in elementary school, got into drugs as a teenager, went through Teen Challenge and was baptized again,then married a Christian woman and had three kids while following the Lord. Nineteen years later, deconstructed his faith and had an affair and now is divorced. My heart is broken for him. I pray daily for his return to God and repentance.

  Never give up no matter how far they seem , our lord can do anything and more, keep praying, keep giving thanks, keep loving , keep being there for them, keep setting the example, keep trusting, &nbsp;and hand all over to jesus ❤

  My oldest (50 y/o) is not just a prodigal, has addictions, has been homeless, and don’t know if he’s homeless now or not-no contact with him since 1/2022 He’s in a huge city so have no idea how I could even find him. It is tough but I keep praying and trusting the Lord.

  God struggle w/ teenagers as well.😮 Someone explained this exact thing to me. Adam and Eve sinned against God..the greatest father of all. We can raise our children in the best environment but they may not choose God. This taught me if it can happen to God...I should not be shocked when it happens to us as parents. It has been comforting. I hope this comforts all of the Godly parents that did your best. But because they have their own will, our best sometimes isn&apos;t Good enough. ❤

  We are suffering from this. We still have a good relationship, but our children are far from God! We are incredibly sad about this!

  This was good. I like the idea of grief. And journaling your laments. I’ve lived this way for decades now. What if the answer doesn’t come? The giving as unpredictable is what I need to do. Instead of giving when asked. <br>I wish there were more interviews like this. So helpful. Adult wayward children no matter what age should be spoken about more. Us parents are hurting.

  Thank you for this. &nbsp;I&apos;ve watched my parents deal with my youngest sibling in painful intentional ways that drove her away. &nbsp;Now I have an adult child who has decided God isn&apos;t there (some pain which happened in university they don&apos;t elaborate on) and my husband said we will love, listen and pray for them. &nbsp;We&apos;ve watched our other adult child experience burnout and deconstruct their faith. &nbsp;Thankfully they are involved in a Church &quot;cell&quot; group which is helpful. &nbsp;I see other parents around me who seem to flourish in their families. &nbsp;Their children attend church, live their faiths, marry and have children. &nbsp;Ours remain achingly single and lonely. &nbsp;I&apos;ve prayed many years for them. &nbsp;This program is an encouragement. &nbsp;Thank you.

  Thank you for this! I have listened to it twice, as we lament over the choices our adult children are making. God is so good, and He is writing a better story than we could ever imagine. Our job is to be faithful to love them and pray, knowing God is faithful!

  When our kids are children, they step on our toes. When they grow up, they step on our hearts. We must pray for them and love them. We also have dignity and are deserving of respect from them for our parental love, care, and sacrifice for them. We must never beg for the scraps of whatever love they say the have for us. May they repent and may the Prodigal return to us!

  Thank you for this interview. I&apos;ve been talking about this prodigal epidemic a lot lately. We haven&apos;t seen our oldest daughter in over a year. She is 22 and living a lie. I needed this message. I can relate to Mary&apos;s story. I too grew up in a very similar situation. Thank you again for sharing.
