  I helped a friend move from Allentown to Chester way back. A cop pulled up while we were unloading, and after asking where we were from, he said &quot;good luck&quot; and drove off.

  Let&apos;s face it. &nbsp;Pa was built on coal, oil and steel. &nbsp;Hard times for all 3 industry&apos;s and now we are left with a bloated, expensive government at all levels. &nbsp;Too many townships outside of boroughs; too many elected politicians; and too many taxes to support all this waste. &nbsp;Just an opinion from an Erie resident.

  We went to Kennywood many years ago. Once we got off the interstate, the neighborhoods we drove through at least looked pretty sketchy. We decided to leave and drive out of there before dark. These were the days before GPS.

  Chester has to be on this list… grew up in eastern DelCo. It was pretty urban but wasn’t too bad. Back then you had to go past Media to be “in the country” - so much has changed since the 70’s.
