Walter knew his son had become P-whipped and wouldn't be of any help to his Mother when Suki made her move. He arranged everything so they couldn't get their hands on anything. Denton won't get a dime until he's 55 which gives him plenty of time to earn his own way in the world, and keep Denton away from the company his father built.
