Their bodies ended up miles apart across East Texas. I'll never forget this. The sound woke me up, i got dressed and ran outside to see where the roar was coming from, and i saw what looked like a meteor shower streaking across the sky. I was 13.

"yeah, you definitely don't want to be outside now"  -  gave me chills 😢

Artemis 2 landed perfectly today. Algorithm sent me here.  I watched the Challenger explode in 1986, then this. This footage got me choked up. 15 seconds to live and they don't know there's a problem. I guess that is how it will be for many people. Stroke, Car crash, something that just Takes you. Rest in Peace Explorers. RIP 🙏🏻💕

Micheal Andersons father lived in my neighborhood about a block from me. I think he passed away a couple years ago or moved. He was the nicest man, always out working in his yard waving at anyone who drive past. There is a large statue of his son in the park downtown and  he had a mini replica of his sons statue in his yard. I stopped and spoke with him a couple times. He was a really nice man and very proud of his son as he should be.

It’s rather incredible that this footage survived intact

The one accident because of leaking O rings that they knew about but too much pressure to launch on time. The second accident with loose tiles that happened many times. Both accidents were preventable . That’s the sad part.

The duration of this video is the time it took after the abrupt ending of the given video for the Crew Cabin to depressurize, Ending the life of 7 Brave Souls. Such is life. You can never know when the end is there. RIP 107 Crew and Columbia. You will never be forgotten. 💐💐

Scott Manley on his channel did a good video of the analysis of the disaster. Part of the wreckage recovered was part of a control panel which shows, by the position of the switches, that the commander had tried to remedy the situation before the craft broke up.  The crew were probably not scared, just professionally trying to fix a situation right until the end, which probably happened very quickly.

This recording is solacing, because you can tell from the energy of the crew in it that they were optimistic, excited and absolutely having the time of their lives, especially Chawla!

Being in that small pod literally a million feet above Earth, traveling faster than any humans before you. Just crazy courage

Sad to think the plasma they were watching wasn't just on the outside. It was inside as well

The video glitches in the end were caused by plasma outside that emitted strong electromagnetic pulses.
