  “I blacked out and bought a $500 iPad because Target was vibing” is a sentence that lives rent-free in my head now. This whole video was like a retail therapy intervention I didn’t know I needed.

  Been boycotting Target for a few months (and Amazon etc) and have saved so much money. Won’t go back unless the CEO goes. I’ve also been using  it to  reset browsing/shopping habits that popped up in the past 4-5 years.

  Haven’t shopped at Target (tho my closest cvs is a Target one) in months, and cancelled my Amazon subscription. Increasing the effort I have to go through to get things is honestly a really effective way of saving money lmfao

  I went from being an over consumer to a minimalist. Best decision I’ve ever made. Why do I need new makeup when I hardly ever wear it?! Why do I need new skincare just to try when it’s taken me years to cultivate the perfect routine for my skin?! I don’t need any of it. &nbsp;<br>Clutter gives me anxiety.

  I&apos;m a professional with a six figure salary and I have never and will never go into target or any store thinking I have a $1,000 dollar budget unless I&apos;m making a big purchase furniture, &nbsp;electronics or an appliance that is ridiculous.

  They&apos;re still shopping at Target!? 😂😅 Also as someone who works retail i can&apos;t stand how these influencers normalize being so physically aggressive with products. Chucking stuff in their cart like garbage before they take it home. Like nobody sets stuff down in the cart like a normal person.. They often have to dump stuff so forcefully into their cart or basket for the video effect or rage baiting.. it teaches people to treat things with carelessness.

  My younger sister works at Target and her manager tells all of his employees to help customers save money because &quot;everything we sell here is going to end up in the landfill and I&apos;d rather help them save money/ spend less on trash&quot;. 💀

  I think it&apos;s also interesting that these people NEVER bring reusable bags when they know they&apos;re going shopping? Obviously everyone can forget their bags every once in awhile, I never see these shopping influencers bring a reusable bag.
