Our son was diagnosed with Still's disease in March this year when he was 16 months old. Steroids, anakinra and cyclosporine help get the disease under control. Our son had high fevers/high ferritin, the rash which came and went with the fevers and arthritic joints. After initial treatment we were discharged and then he had a few flare ups. Tocilizumab was started but didn't seem to help, lots of arthritis. Canakinumab & methotrexate started in July(due to fevers return)and we have seen a massive improvement in him physically and in his blood results. When he was about 1 he had a serious period of eczema, I wonder if that was in any way a precursor to the onset of Still's. We are based in Scotland UK, The Rheumatology team here have been a great help. Thank you for the informative webinar.
