  Honestly, I was actually kinda glad I had a bit of a soft deadline (con date) on my first head, it gave me a target to hit. I didn't aim for perfection on my first head, and its far from that, yet it was still very well received in both my friend group and also outside of it (I'm Ground in your discord with the maned wolf made in 8 days). While materials are not cheap, they are still many times cheaper then commissioning a head, so not being afraid having to start from scratch at some point can also help with motivation. Most makers wouldn't call my head done; I decided its done for being my first head and I'd rather start fresh and make another rather then try perfecting something that I already like a lot.

  Waffles, I watched your &quot;Common Beginner Fursuit Maker Mistakes&quot; video nearly 4 years ago. I had a project I left on the shelves for over 3 years because I was so afraid that I&apos;d mess it up beyond repair, or not be satisfied with the results. Your advice gave me a lot of confidence. I finished my suit, AND 9 more since then. I&apos;m now working on my very first commission.<br>I still think of that video and some of the advice I still use to this day. Thank you so much for inspiring me and so many others!

  I&apos;m glad that you included some international options for things like buying patterns. It&apos;s really infuriating to watch info videos that feature solely American suppliers, it&apos;s utterly useless for makers outside of the USA. A video about sourcing materials for international makers might be useful!

  I&apos;m stuck at &quot;ordering fur&quot; which is pricey and I can&apos;t afford at the moment. :( But I can start sculpting the base for one of my next projects at least!
