Thanks Jeff, this is the comparison I didn't even know I wanted to see. Agreed on the taste buds not having the sensitivity to smoke after babysitting the smokers for hours on end. I normally have to depend on my wife to taste test for meats like pork butts and ribs that don't require a long rest. Hope you're enjoying the last days of summer!

Great video Jeff. I have tried the charcoal pellets and I can’t really taste the charcoal flavor. Like you said maybe smelling the smoke and then trying what you cooked you can’t really taste the smoke after you finish cooking. Have a fantastic day Jeff and glad to see you again.
