  I love how she made a song about the self-proclaimed “nice guy” who thinks he deserves something in return for being nice well before consent was taught widespread. I’m happy she was one of my idols growing up.

  I love how this song existed at a time when the whole “consent is very important” wasn’t a wide spread thing. I love how it’s talked about a bunch today, and I even bet this song helped in some way. Seeing her sing about it at a time like that is just awesome and truly inspiring. She never tries to do what is “trendy” she just does what she does.
