Rosalind Russell was born in my hometown of Waterbury CT. So proud of her. Read her autobiography titled "Life Is A Banquet" several times. A great life without any scandals. Her home is now a funeral home.

I felt she was a great beauty that was so underrated. She was thrown in with the femme fatale beauties of the 1940s, but was so different. Did what ever film she wanted and didn't seem to run with the studio tactics.

I love these movies ; 'gems' I call them, and as always, Ms. Russell never fails. In fact, her betrayal of 'Mrs. Craig' was spot on.

The aircraft seen at 30.37 was used in several WB pictures [including "Casablanca", seen briefly as an Air France airliner]: it crashed in 1942.
