  The Vietnamese people know who we are, during the Viet Nam war many blacks were treated with reverence. They knew about our suggles in America. So they know who we are as a people. Ho chi Minh, knew about the civil rights movement in America. We must learn more about who they are too. We are all connected.

  Vietnam is amazing! 1 of my best travel experiences during my 3 year sabbatical. 1 thing is for sure is that 99% of the things I did as a solo traveler I wouldn&apos;t do in countries (Brazil, Colombia, the continent of Africa, etc) that &quot;celebrate&quot; us as Black people. Never had to keep head on a swivel, wore what I want/when I want, etc. Cab rides in the weee hours of the morning. It&apos;s very solo travel friendly for Black women. Love SEA!!!

  Vietnam may not be the right place for you if you’re not comfortable with friendly, curious locals. I understand that some tourists worry about scams, but it can feel discouraging when genuine friendliness is misinterpreted. Once, I tried chatting with a tourist while hiking in Dalat, and she told her guide she didn’t want to talk to me, I was really shocked.<br>But over time, I’ve realized that Vietnamese people are actually among the most welcoming and least discriminatory. Most of us just want to share kindness with visitors.

  Love your video! Did you know you can be a part time English teacher, teaching 20hrs/week. That can give you $1,200 US /month. The school will pay for your Visa. They also pay for annual physical check up at an international hospital. YOu can have a Singapore Bank account and do ATM withdraw or transfer international fun....

  I&apos;m a 67 year old FBA living in district 3. &nbsp;I moved on from Thailand to Vietnam and I&apos;m loving it. I mostly cook for myself and I absolutely love shopping at the local fresh markets here. I live around the locals, not really looking for expats and I&apos;ve met a few locals who speak English, I also have the language translator so I&apos;m pretty good. I use VP bank ATM&quot;s. The other day a bus driver shouted &quot;I love you&quot; at me. &nbsp;Never had that happen before in any other country, &nbsp;period. I&apos;m living my best life. ❤

  I love traveling and living in countries where I&apos;m part of the majority. That&apos;s a healing feeling that many Africans in the Diaspora should experience.

  Vietnam (Danang) was my 1st choice, but I ended up in Panama which was my 2nd choice. Been here 3 years now, but I still plan on visiting Vietnam.
