That's true about the hate some republicans had for Obama. My sister, a right wing evangelical, says he was the worst president in US history. It comes from 40 years of Moral Majority type propaganda.

The Republican Party hated the fact that a black man was President so much, they set out to destroy the entire country. They would rather see every American suffer, than a black President succeed. That is some serious racism!

I think I get it. Barack Obama's lofty ideals can only be realized when both sides of politics are committed to the greater good. Republicans have demonstrated time and time again that they most definitely are not.
