  The truth is Elvis had a soul more beautiful than his face. It radiated kindness, humility, respect and generosity his whole life. He never deserved the ridicule he suffered the last few years on earth because of the above characteristics &nbsp;plus he never ridicued others. Thank goodness reaction videos like yours are repairing some of the damage. (P.S. I was one of the one billion watching the 1973 Aloha from Hawaii &nbsp;special. I was just 16 years old and became his fan that night. His looks and talent got my attention but it was his soul that made me his fan forever. His fan then, now &amp; forever.)

  I met someone a few years ago who grew up in Memphis in the 1950&apos;s/60&apos;s. &nbsp;Of course, &nbsp;I asked her about Elvis. She got real serious and said that no one knows how much Elvis did for people. &nbsp;She said, &quot;I learned to drive thanks to Elvis.&quot; He had an arrangement deal with one of the local car dealerships so that anyone in Memphis who wanted to learn to drive could get drivers training there for free. &nbsp;Thanks for highlighting Elvis&apos;s generosity and kindness.

  His girlfriend Linda Thompson said he used to spend Christmas Eve visiting with prisoners at the local jail, asking if there was anything he could do for their families. Remember his dad had been in prison, so he knew what it was like for the kids. That he would take the time to do that is incredible.

  I met Elvis Photographer at the Opry who traveled with him. He said Elvis would find out if any police or firemen had been injured or killed in every city he went to and would give money to help their families.

  Now you know how all the elvis fans feel when people go around disrespecting the man. All the good things he did he kept quite. Imagaine if people actually knew this stuff! This isnt even close to everything he did.

  Elvis had alot of medical issues that he inherited from his mother. He didn&apos;t take drugs to get high, he took drugs to live and keep entertaining his fans. He never wanted to let them down. He performed running a high fever and throwing up. They were looking for him when it was time to go onstage and couldn&apos;t find him. They found him in the bathroom on his knees praying that he could give his fans a good show. Right after the show they took him to the hospital .

  I knew about Elvis&apos; contribution to ending polio in this country because my mom got polio a couple of years before the vaccine. She never forgot how his televised vaccination saved millions of children from becoming paralyzed like she was by the virus. We listened to a LOT of Elvis in my home.

  Just one of the kind things Elvis did for people is, when Jackie Wilson, had his stroke on stage in 1975,Elvis paid for his medical bills, when Jackie had to be put in a nursing home, in new jersey, from 1975-84,when Jackie Wilson died from his stroke

  Yeah, even in 1977, when Elvis died, he was still the #1 touring act in America, with tickets - when you had to literally go and buy them - sold out in minutes as people would camp out for days.
