  To earn 10 Lakhs/month, you need about 12 acres to manage about 100 buffalows/cows, 10,000 chickens, 1000 boxes of honey bees, and about 13 workers. They didn't show any of that messy part of the farm. Showed it more like farmhouse weekend vacation and avoided all the messy hard work. Typical Youtube rosy video. Wish it is more realistic.

  Looks like they're living their dream life. Really good for them. A few observations - They had some money/savings to start with, and didn't jump into it, but rather did it their own way and pace. Used their resources wisely. Not to worry about the next generation (personal choice, etc.), use your intelligence and preferences. A good recipe for success and happiness.

  @bibhaw I understand your concern, but the assumption behind your comment is incomplete.<br>Not every farmer in India is struggling, and not every small farm operates at mandi-level margins. Mala Farms doesn’t earn from “small farms selling raw produce.” They earn from premium organic products, value-added items, and direct-to-customer sales — which is a completely different business model.<br><br>When you compare that to traditional farming, of course the numbers won’t make sense.<br>It’s like comparing a local tea stall to a premium café and then wondering why the café earns more.<br><br>Their lifestyle comes from running the farm like a brand, not like a conventional field.<br>There’s strategy, processing, packaging, marketing, and distribution behind it — not just soil and seeds.<br><br>So before assuming the story “doesn’t align,” it’s better to understand the business model first.<br>The gap isn’t in their narrative — it’s in the assumptions being made about it.
