  I live on Grapevine Mountain in the Ouachitas of Hot Springs, Arkansas. I can walk out my back door and see quartz crystal in every direction.

  I was born and raised in Arkansas, my husband was born in TN, but moved to AR when he was 7. We Moved away right after we married in 1985 when his USMC enlistment required it. We’ve lived in VA for the last 28 years. After watching this video, I think when he retires from his civilian job in 2028 (🤞) we should make some trips back to visit some of these places. Maybe the Grands will come with us and enjoy the stories of when we grew up in the state.

  I live in Hot Springs, Arkansas and my address is actually in the Hot Springs National Parks zip code of the Ouachita Mountains.  Love my little city.

  I live in central AR walking distance to the White River. Duck season really can't be overstated. I've lived all over the US, and I've never seen a tenth as many birds in one area or one day. Every fall, the fields behind my house will have tens of thousands of ducks in them at any given moment.

  Lived in Magnet Cove over 10 years.  I would gather crystals and the magnet stones, and give out to friends.

  Here! Wedington Wood Ar.🖐✋️<br>My dad was a geologist and archeologist. He had a Rock Shop in Mountainburg Ar. We had this in our shop. <br>In Arkansas, the term &quot;bending stone&quot; most commonly refers to Itacolumite, a rare type of &quot;flexible sandstone&quot; that can be found in the state&apos;s Ouachita Mountains. While most rocks are rigid and break under pressure, a thin slab of itacolumite can physically bend when held at both ends due to its unique interlocking grain structure.
