  I&apos;m leaning toward YTA for the sister story. She describes the sister as &quot;the responsible one&quot; and that she has &quot;helped out financially a few times&quot;. How many times has OP come with her hand out and the sister gave it? I understand not being able to host for a couple weeks but she can&apos;t stay for a few days? You can&apos;t help her get into a hotel? Nothing? Is the sister coming with any pets or kids? I would understand the hard no if saying yes meant saying yes to not just the sister. But if it&apos;s just her surely a grown adult will work around the little one&apos;s sleep schedule. How much of her emergency fund did she use on OP&apos;s emergencies but now can&apos;t use it on her own?<br>The only thing keeping me from going hard YTA is where are the parents? Are they in a retirement community? Out of town/state?<br>I get laying boundaries but sometimes you have to be uncomfortable on occasion when someone you care about is in need. Definitely don&apos;t expect another cent from the sister though. I have a feeling she won&apos;t be making herself uncomfortable for OP anymore.

  The fact that the sister only had a couch to loan her sister means that her sister wouldn’t be trying to stay longer than the couple of days…so there is that! &nbsp;🤷🏼‍♀️

  Mom&apos;s oftentimes are jealous of their daughters. Mine was and she used to say, &quot;I don&apos;t want you to have better than I did!&quot; &nbsp;She preferred my 3 brothers.

  I have friends who have been married for forty plus years and when they renovated their kitchen they deliberately didn’t put in a dishwasher because they have always done dishes together every day for their relationship.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yryO2-skje4&amp;t=582">9:42</a> this reminds me of a story back 10 years ago now I was in a bar in Boise, Idaho and this guy walks in the door and he’s got the saddest face and he orders a drink, and I couldn’t help but be drawn to the aura of sadness. Seeking to help make him smile or something I started up a conversation, asked how he was doing. He asked if I had time and he would tell his story. I said sure I didn’t have anywhere to be that evening and we’re sitting in a bar so why not. He proceeds to tell me that he had just gotten off of a very, very long flight. He had left his job getting one in Utah and had been in a long distance relationship with a girl who was supposed to pick him up at the airport and they were supposed to go to U-Haul center and pick up a U-Haul to pack all of her stuff and move her to Utah with him. But she never showed up. When he called and called and called, she eventually answered and said that she changed her mind. That she never thought he was actually coming for her. So she wasn’t willing to go. 😢 I bought him a regular soda and he drank it after the beer and said he didn’t know what to do. I said return the truck and get a rental car and go to Utah and move forward. 😅 I don’t know what ended up happening to him. I hope he made it through.

  Get dad a financial accountant. &nbsp;His check goes to them and they pay all his bills. He gets an allowance. Return all the amazon purchases that you can, and have an estate sale.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yryO2-skje4&amp;t=1504">25:04</a> THIS WAS LITERALLY MY GUY AND I AT A RESTAURANT. It’s a seafood place. He ordered the crawfish. Some of them were DARK AF (like black) and they “tasted off” (I didn’t have any). I told him to inform the waitress but he refused and just tossed the yucky ones into the crab leg trash bucket. They needed to know it was bad but he refused… weird hill to die on IMO. It’s not like we wanted free stuff (it was all you can eat so the price would have been the same regardless).
