  God bless that man for his care talking with the little girl. Checking in on her mental wellbeing and validating her feelings in the moment.

  The moment that 8 year old, Farah, started to get quiet and the 999 operator noticed and gently asked if she was okay. That brought a few sad tears to my eyes. Then when Farah said that the ambulance was there and exclaimed, “I’ve never been in an ambulance before!” That just brought happy tears to my eyes. <br><br>Kids are just something. <br><br>Also, bless that operator for his gentleness with Farah and talking her through her emotions. It’s important to remember that such events are a lot to process for everyone there, not just the patient and their mother.

  that elderly woman hit by a car did incredibly well despite having dementia. she seemed very lucid throughout the whole thing!

  This breaks my heart. I live in the USA. The longest ive waited for an ambulance is 10 minutes. &nbsp;We also have the fire department that arrives before the ambulance to start helping beforehand. &nbsp;I cant imagine having a waiting list for the medics. I hate what we have to pay for medical care. I believe we need to change but to only have to wait minutes for help means everything

  I am 911 communication and I am so moved by the sincere care and gentle way these dispatchers speak to callers. But to be fair the people calling for help in the UK are so much more calm than a majority of the calls I get. But just watching the way they conduct themselves is challenging me to be better. I love this show.

  What a great example as to why I&apos;ll take waiting in line all day at my Canadian hospital, than to take a shortcut simply because I have money.
