Instead of a utility knife to cut the fabric, try a propane torch. It fast and also singes the edge where it's cut, so you never get tassels and it won't separate later. Also when inserting the staples at the end of the row, it helps to fold the fabric back under itself 3-4" so the staple is going through 2 layers of the fabric.

I wish the Groundhog would eat my weeds instead of my squash plants' leaves. My entire first year crop of squash was ruined. But I did start some more in early July thanks to your advice, and this time I have them enclosed in a 5x5 ft wire cage. It feels like I am running a liquor store in the bad part of town.

100% agree on the nanoplastics issue. glass , stainless steel , cast iron, and no plastic spatulas cooking . Great instructions on laying landscape fabric

We are newbies to gardening. We did a lot of You YouTube research. We followed the advice of a YouTuber from living traditions homestead. We bought the landscape cloth he suggested. We also cut the cloth by using a torch it also melted the edges so it would not fray. And for each hole for planting we use the torch to melt a circular hole. It worked out great. You are my go-to guy. I watch you a lot. I keep going back to your videos to check on how and when to fertilize my watermelon and what I need to do with my different plants. I want to let you know that I have a huge watermelon patch in right now we have about 34 watermelon with more coming. Thank you so much you're amazing!😊

Not everyone. My husband packs his own lunch every morning and even takes his water in 2, 2gallon stainless steel water jugs. We won't eat anywhere but home unless it's absolutely necessary. We even took a day trip and I packed a lunch kinda picnic style. We have a private water well that is spring fed. We have been blessed with a beautiful garden and harvest this year. Praise the Lord. God is good.
