  i remember thinkink it odd that people thought the 20 gauge slug was too light for deer but the 50 cal muzzle loader was near perfect.

  As a 69-year old with a bad shoulder, I researched and purchased a 20-gauge semiautomatic box-fed shotgun for Home Defense last year. &nbsp;It is currently loaded with #2 shot at 1500 f.p.s. &nbsp;<br>After seeing this demonstration, I&apos;ll go to loading with slugs. &nbsp;<br>I just found these videos today. &nbsp;Very informative AND entertaining. &nbsp;That&apos;s why I subscribed. 👍

  About 35 years ago we had a suspect take a woman hostage. &nbsp;The female trooper that was dispatched to the domestic grabbed her 12 gauge 870 and chambered a slug. &nbsp;The suspect, holding the woman hostage, approached her cruiser at which time she proceeded to disintegrate his head removing it from his body permanently.

  Some Marine, somewhere: &nbsp;&quot;Overkill is underrated&quot;. However, it is apparent from your testing that a 20ga is perfectly adequate for self defense. Oh, and for slugos, I recommend rock salt.

  That pink laminate wood furniture for your shotgun honestly doesn&apos;t look bad. Not overbearing with the pink. Besides, it still just as deadly.
