  it has some FUN uses. I used this amp to power some outdoor Klipsch speakers mounted on my covered porch at a weekend house where I wouldnt feel comfortable  in leaving an amp in place fulltime -- even inexpensive one. So its portability adds considerable and easy enjoyment to a setting that offers limited options otherwise.  I don't expect audiophile quality in an outdoor setting, but this paired with good speakers proves more than up to the job of providing good basic sound with some decent detail.  It is a nice option for adding some jazz to dinner outside during good weather or classical works when sitting and reading. For my specific uses, I give it a thumbs up.

  Currently using this to power two NHT SuperZeros that I recently removed from rear surround duties. They were simply too good for that, and I realized that the Fosi amp was pretty decent and it could effectively power these rather inefficient (but very accurate and clear sounding) speakers.<br><br>It is a wonderful pairing, I no longer have to rely on two limited range mini speakers from a HTIB speaker set up?and I am now enjoying full range HiFi sound from thanks to my powerful little Fosi and my two little (but significantly larger than the speakers they replaced) NHT bookshelves!

  Bought this for essentially one of your explained use cases: powering some thrifted Marantz 3-way speakers from a late 90s bookshelf system in my home office. &nbsp;It performs totally great for listening to Spotify in the background of work. &nbsp;So yes if you are an adult looking for an amp for your main system for vinyl or CD, &nbsp;look elsewhere

  I can’t believe I spent so much time looking at this to not have a phono pre amp built in 😅. It worked with my turn table but it’s like at 5% volume when I have the knob at 100%

  I was trying to eat something and about choked laughing about your description of fun with the tiny amp. Your review was much more fun than the product seems to be. The only reason I was looking at it is for my VW camper and I want to power a &quot;home&quot; type amp so I can use my generator instead of the car battery for my quality Sony in dash CD player when I go camping. I am looking for small size but good sound and I have to keep looking.

  So my ideas of fun for this amp is to hook up a spare set of minimus 7s and a cassette player. Thus keeping my main system separate. This setup will be semi portable too

  a lot of people talk about this amp but nobody turn it on so we can hear the sound quality. i don&apos;t find any video that show this, just talking about the good price and what ever

  Mine is different to yours - the alignment of the graphics on the front panel is different; the top label is aligned more to the left. Doesn&apos;t say a lot about the quality process...it also doesn&apos;t have that sticker on the left side. Hmm..<br><br>However, I love mine and disagree with many of your points. This replaces a Hitachi HA-3 as a PC sound system, and for that (with Mission bookshelf speakers) it is awesome. A vast improvement.<br><br>I&apos;d fall into the &quot;curious&quot; group, having been a hobbyist listener for &gt;50 years and worked in audio for some of those.
