  As a Gumball Veteran (since season 1), I have this to say about TWWWOG:<br>The hate is unwarranted for the revival. Is it as good as the original? Not quite, but it has several redeeming qualities, such as the animation taking a large step up for the most silly and unneeded moments.<br>In short, I&apos;ve been enjoying TWWWOG, and cant wait to see more

  Fun fact :The original name of The Amazing World of Gumball was Funball, but due to copyright issues, the writer changed the name to Gumball, and Rob&apos;s form in the Void was a blue ball,There&apos;s a theory that the characters won&apos;t grow up because of the Void. Cartoon Network executives know that the original plan for The Amazing World of Gumball was about outcast cartoon characters at a school, but the producers rejected the idea and asked them to change the story. The story goes like this: There was an older series project, starring Rob, about rejected characters at a private school. When the project was canceled, the remnants of the world were thrown into the Void. Then the new Gumball series was created, using some elements from the old project, including Rob. However, Rob wasn&apos;t transferred to the Void correctly, becoming a character without a role or identity. That&apos;s why no one remembers him, and why he says he &quot;has no reason to exist.&quot; When he emerged from the Void, he realized his life had been stolen, and he became Gumball&apos;s antagonist, not because he&apos;s inherently evil, but because he feels the true hero has been robbed of his role.

  i think the reason most fans dont like it is that they simply... grew up<br>they watched tawog as a kid and what stuck with them is ofc any story arcs like the void which this show kinda just forgot about for a while

  Nah, the Skibidi Joke killed me and I loved it, just like the show overall <br>But one thing that I noticed and was turned off by at first was how direct the show got. Gumball always poked fun at real life issues, but it feels way more intense here. Like the episode about fast food, or like you pointed out, the AI and that whole episodes. It&apos;s not a bad thing to me, but It did took some time to get used to the much stronger confrontations of these real life issues<br>At least to me

  What kind of turned me off from the revival is that Gumball and Darwin feel a bit interchangeable now. While they still have their differences, Gumball is way less witty, selfish, and, let&apos;s face it, kind of a jerk. Those flawed, chaotic personality traits are exactly what made him and the show stand out to me. He balanced it out with loyalty, compassion, and the occasional burst of proactiveness, which made it impossible to actually hate him. And on the topic of lack of wit, while yes, the new seasons are still funny, the comedy relies more on visual gags and character actions than sharp, character-driven dialogue.
