  TBH, I think the greatest thing one can treat oneself to in Paris is a baking class.<br><br>I took a class and now make croissants, pain au chocolat, kougin Amman and pain aux raisins. My Parisien husband is incredibly happy on the weekends!!

  Fun suggestions! I might add that while Georges Larnicol has decent chocolates and is more affordable, Paris has so many artisanal chocolatiers that have exceptional chocolates: Jaques Genin, Jade Genin, Jean-Charles Rouchoux, Jean Paul Hevin, and my favorite Bernachon. The Bernachon Pistache bar is heaven. Another great chocolate souvenir stop is BHV. They have a wall of chocolate bars from different makers around France at the best prices. Try the Bonnat Porcelana. Merci a votre video!

  My favorite souvenir from my first trip to Paris was a pair of French solider figurines (one was Napoleon and the other was a soldier) atop horses that I found at a neighborhood flea market.

  I always go to cooking stores in La Halle and buy made in France items. All souvenirs have to be made in the country I&apos;m visiting and not China. Grocery stores have the best chocolate and the bakeries have marshmallow baby Jesus in a manger for Christmas. My nieces were impressed. We bought Dior glass frames during the sale and had the scrip put in after getting home. Paris is always ahead of trends by two years.
