  Why do I, a Parisian for 30 years, enjoy so much watching an American (an French ;) ) tell me about Paris is a mistery... Maybe it's because of your passion for the city, and your cool recommandations.. Anyways, congratulations for your citizenship, you deserve it a lot, and thanks for what you're doing !

  I was born in Paris, grew and still live in the 15th,<br>when I saw you put it down the list I was shocked but then listened to your arguments and understood your point, you&apos;re right, for a first time visitor this is not an interesting place to go because it&apos;s fully residential BUT here it&apos;s very safe at night and you can find everything you need quickly it&apos;s highly practical. To live in the 15th feels so good because I can go to the lovely 4th, 5th areas whenever I want to see lot of people, noise &amp; enjoy all the views &amp; stuff but when I feel i wanna get some calm I just come back home to my sweet 15th,<br>would pretty recommand to live here but would never recommand to any first time tourist for sure,<br>love that video btw, your love for paris is touching :)

  I’ve been going to Paris for 30 years, so have ‘done’ all the main things. Now, reduced mobility means I do my flânerie by bus, or just take Uber to a park or café and just enjoy ‘being’ in Paris. Now looking forward to Easter and music in Ste Sulpice and Saint Chapelle.

  I took your recommendation earlier this year and booked an electric scooter tour with Badass Tours. Absolutely the best thing you can do upon arrival.

  We just finished a dual trip to Paris (4 days in Paris followed by a few days in the South of France then back to Paris for a few days), and we stayed in the 10th both times. While it is gritty we loved the access to transportation. We quickly figured out the busses and subway and were able to get anywhere in the city within a few minutes. I thwarted a pick pocket with her hand actually in my bag so it’s imperative that you wear your valuables under your clothes if possible. &nbsp;The more inconvenient it is for you yourself to access your wallet the more impossible it is for the pick pocketers.

  If i may argue on the Montparnasse view not being your favorite : we actually have a saying in Paris, that Tour Montparnasse has the best view in the whole city ... because it&apos;s the only place from where you actually don&apos;t see the tower itself !

  Appreciated it, I&apos;ve been watching for years. Allow me to bring my own two cents here since I&apos;ve been to Paris twice now. First visit I stayed a week in the 3rd, so I spent time in the 11th naturally. Which resulted in me staying a week in the 11th for my second visit – and this summer I&apos;m staying another week in the 11th for my 3rd visit to Paris. Just to say that the 11th to me is an awesome place to stay and have your daily hours between other outings to cultural stuff around the city 🙂<br><br>PS. So many of your videos inspired both my first and second trip to Paris which I&apos;m sure made it better 😎 keep truckin&apos; brother!

  Agree with most, but you’ve got to get to know the 14th better! Parc Montsouris, Montparnasse cemetery and the arts market on Edgar quinet, rue Daguerre, rue Montparnasse for the greatest crepes in town, eglise notre-dame-du-travail, artist studios, iconic restaurants (la Coupole, le dome), neighborhood joints (bistrotrotters), museums (eg liberation), galleries, the observatory… there’s so much history and culture there. I wonder if you are keeping it secret on purpose?!

  I loved this ranking, Jay, especially when compared to the one you published before of the arrondissements you&apos;d prefer for living.<br>And I love the fact that it is quite different from the one @LucileHR published just a few days later.<br>Now, I feel compelled to publish in turn the ranking of my favorite districts, to live in or just to visit, that of a Parisian considerably older than you, who does not necessarily have the same societal views as the two of you.
