Amazing.
I truly admire and respect Dickens because he focused his literary work on ordinary people, the poor, and the oppressed, rather than on kings, princes, and the like.
From Gaza, Palestine.

Charles Dickens is one of my favourite writer. I visited his museum in 2009. I learned to appreciate Charles Dickens through my mother and my love of reading the works of this great writer. His sensitivity was extraordinary; he was attentive to the problems of simple and poor people and changed the world by revealing their suffering. Christmas was another important theme in his works, and he transformed Christmas season into a time of generosity in giving and receiving. I loved learning about Charles Dickens' story.

I love Charles Dickens' Christmas Carol with my favorite line that reads, "Learn all you can from the child that you love!"❤ Music to my ears for featuring the story of Charles Dickens. ❤

The suffering Charles Dickens experienced as a boy working in the blacking factory helped him grow as a man. In the Baha'i Faith we learn that suffering is a part of life and that it is necessary to help us mature into adults.
