  I think playing Persona 3 FES and reversing Yukari because I chose to hug her in her vulnerable state was the first time in a game where my immersion was broken in a good way, and it got me to reevaluate how I approach and read social situations when people are upset.<br>I&apos;m neurodivergent, and when it first happened I just blamed her and thought she was written as overreacting, but that shit literally had me up at night until I realized that the game didn&apos;t overreact; I just didn&apos;t think about how she felt or what I would and wouldn&apos;t need in that situation.

  I had a L O T of friends who were girls growing up, so playing P3FES for the first time and not having the ability to just be chill with a lady did throw me off guard a bit, I won&apos;t lie. <br>But on another note, in the modern games I have a tendency to just kinda ignore social links that I&apos;ve completed, so I think the abandonment mechanic would be a really good reason to make sure you keep up with these friendships post-completion, even if it&apos;s just once per chapter or something.

  The mechanic being cut in P5 robbed us of the opportunity for something really funny to happen in Royal. Imo, it would have made perfect sense if a certain point in the Semester 3 main story would just reverse all of the phantom thieves at once. You guys probably know what I think should trigger this.

  One of my least favorite things about the removal of the reverse mechanic is how it turns your friends into total suck ups which to me is a form of the game rejecting its own themes.<br><br>Chie is my favorite Persona character and all but there is no reason why I should be able to call her fat on a date and Chie immediately forgives me. Meanwhile Yosuke can say the same thing and gets buried. It makes the bond building process feel hollow.

  I remember when I reversed one of the boys on FES just because I didn’t talk to them for a long time.<br>Which genuinely had me crying it was like I ghosted them 😭
