  Whoa. Listening to these as a native Hebrew speaker is kinda wild. To think anyone would interpret 'et' as the Hebrew authors trying to hide Jesus in the Old Testament from Christians is absolutely bonkers.

  Man the 6ᵗʰ-century BCE Canaanites who created the Jewish texts had a tough time; not only did they have to somehow combine dozens of contemporary traditions into a single vaguely-coherent text but also had to include ones that wouldn't even be invented until over half a millennium later!

  There is a kabbalistic tradition of viewing &quot;et&quot; through the lens of first-last letter. The belief isn&apos;t that it has some preordained meaning, but rather it&apos;s a practice of stopping and considering, every time you see this most banal, mundane word, that even it may contain an entire world. Which is kind of a fun meditative practice. And Hungarian readers can do it too (&quot;az&quot; is an indefinite article)!
