  I think women are just as homophobic as men but the difference is men are more direct about it or completely avoid lgbtq interactions while women will play nice but display micro aggressions

  Saying that just because black women have gay friends means they&apos;re not homophobic is crazy. It&apos;s the same thing as a racist saying &quot;I&apos;m not racist, I have black friends.&quot; Black women are extremely homophobic.

  I’ve noticed how male homophobia is like meeting an aggressive dog while female homophobia is an ambush predator. I say that because men tend to openly homophobic and want to get away from it, usually from toxic masculinity or repressed homosexuality; but women sometimes act nice, supportive, or even ‘embrace the culture’ through using lingo and mannerisms, while at the same time using words like “gay”, “ponk”, or “twink” as insults or emasculating terms

  Bro this idea that black women get more of a pass because black men are also homophobic is treating these women like they’re infants. I’m tired of pretending we champion equality when we treat women like regarded children who can’t make their own decisions.

  It&apos;s quite funny how a woman can have manly tendencies, but most people won&apos;t think she&apos;s less of a woman. She can be bisexual, but most people won&apos;t question if she&apos;s actually more into women than men. She can be single for the rest of her life, but most people won&apos;t question if she&apos;s a weirdo or not. <br><br>The biggest difference between men and women, is that for most of society being a &quot;man&quot; is a status symbol and being a woman is what you are. You can lose the title of a &quot;man&quot; and people will think differently of you. We as a culture haven&apos;t moved on from this, men are still expected to act like a certain man.
