  It's funny when a guy says: you gonna die alone. Most women die alone, my grandmothers are still alive, both alone. We live more, we are used to die alone... but men normally don't, so they are the ones who should be worried about it.

  It&apos;s simple, my dad is a great father but was a terrible husband. Cheated on my mom for years after she got kicked out of her strict family for dating him and getting pregnant with me. When she died, he cried every night for months. Now he&apos;s older, sad all the time and always talks about her and how she always &quot;celebrated him&quot;. I watched all that and thought, if a great dad like mine was such a shit partner, I&apos;d rather be alone.

  It’s really simple. Older women were more vocal about their experiences in their relationships. If you see your mom working full time and still expected to do everything for her family, what’s the benefit in that.

  I think there&apos;s cultural aspects as well. I&apos;ve always saw both parents clean daily growing up. My dad always said there&apos;s no excuse for a dirty home. And my mother never did filth anyway. So our household never had traditional roles to begin with. My mom eventually stayed at home due to health but I&apos;m sure she would have definitely kept working if she could&apos;ve. It&apos;s not a 50/50 life, it&apos;s 100/100.

  I always wanted kids until I got married and felt like slave. When I met him, he home was always very organized and clean. When we started living together I was constantly picking up after him on top of cooking, making his lunches for work, laundry, groceries, and running errands for his business. I eventually started working full time which helped with bills while he was growing his company but I was still doing like 95% of household chores. I’d say that 95% might even be generous. He became a complete slob and I was mentally and physically drained.

  I learned how to cook and wash my own clothes and clean at 6 (single mom). We grew up together with Grandma and my aunts (moms sisters) My Grandma came from an abusive relationship (husband almost killed her) So she left him and &nbsp;moved took the kids, the women I was raised by were Spartan women. We all did everything together. ⚔️

  29 4 kids and married. He works , I stay home (for now) . We already talked about how things will work out . I will NOT be doing double the work just because I’m the wife . I also expect the house to be clean and food cooked when I get home from work. It’s a team effort … my time and effort will be reciprocated , or I will not be working.
