I love that yes he knowing fashion designers is a stereotype for gay men, but all the queer reactors (I think they are, at least) got that he was gay just like her the moment he said it, also to me the tone he used was also a big clue

To be fair, I'm pretty sure it was the combination of him knowing the style & season of her shoes, his tone of voice when he told her off, and the notorious head-swivel he did while doing so that tipped her off. (literally <b>every single gay person I know</b> does that head swivel when clapping back at somebody 😂).

OK, maybe you can say that not ALL Gay men know fashion but I think you can also say that a huge number of straight men do not know woman’s fashion.  Either thay don’t know or wouldn’t admit it if they did.  I think it is pretty obvious that Enrique was a nock off with both knowing she was wearing Prada shoes and that shirt.  I am LGBTQ and this was funny, everyone has just gotten way too sensitive.
