  People talk about Dark Moon having a more comedic approach meanwhile they ignore some of the songs in the soundtrack that don't sound like anything you'd hear in a Mario game but rather a horror game or horror movie

  I love how dark moon skips the Poltergust 4000 and goes right to 5000 because the Poltergust 4000 was in Mario kart ds. Really makes you question the Mario timeline

  You made so many comparisons to the original game, but this game was made by a different team than the original. It’s an entirely different beast altogether. To be fair though, you aren’t wrong for expecting a sequel to evolve off the original.

  A few times at the beginning, you mentioned how it&apos;s &apos;obvious&apos; who the villain is, since it&apos;s a sequel so people are already gonna know because of that.<br>...Except that it&apos;s entirely possible for Dark Moon to be someone&apos;s first Luigi&apos;s Mansion game, and thus they wouldn&apos;t necessarily have the first game&apos;s story and characters known. While, yeah, King Boo is still shown quite obviously, not everyone will know who that Boo is or his motives.<br><br>Dark Moon was my first Luigi&apos;s Mansion game, in fact, as I was too young to ever own a GameCube during its heyday (I got one second-hand years afterwards, and I didn&apos;t know about LM then), but I was in high school during the 3DS era and had seen chuggaaconroy&apos;s Luigi&apos;s Mansion LP by that time - so that&apos;s why I started with Dark Moon.<br>Will I ever go back and play LM, considering I&apos;ve long since finished both Dark Moon and LM3? Who knows.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xOTVA1C0b6s&amp;t=2381">39:41</a> Actually, that’s not true. If you look closely, ghosts do make disturbances if the ground is covered in sand or water. With sand, it’ll be a small dust cloud, and if it’s water, they’ll leave a trail of ripples behind; this also applies to snow as well. And if there’s a mirror, anything that is invisible will show up in the reflection.<br><br>Whenever a Sneaker gets close to you is when they’ll scare you, and if you’re far enough away, it won’t affect you. If you can keep track of where they are, they’re not too bad.

  I remember before this game came out I was at a convention where I was able to play a demo of this game, which had a mission taking place in the old clockworks.<br>Now, I specifically remember E. Gadd describing that the clock factory was shut down due to a series of freak accidents.<br>However, in the final version he doesn&apos;t say that anymore. Maybe because the implications were too grim. But that detail stuck with me and I would&apos;ve loved if they had kept it in.

  At least Duel Scream Ringtone is cool. Like, if you make something you will be seeing/hearing a lot, make it good, and with the ringtone, they did that pretty well IMO... even if &quot;a lot&quot; here is &quot;TOO MUCH&quot;
