  We were providing production for Clint and his band at the Clark County Fair, the day after Stevie Ray was killed. They knew our crew had worked a portion of the Live Alive tour earlier that spring. They were so kind and during their show, they stopped, introduced our crew and then they played a couple of Stevie's tunes. The most emotional moment in my carreer. Thank you Clint! Absolute class!

  Clint Black maybe the most underrated song writer of all Time.. Killing Time .. Set so many records it was unreal. We were proud in Houston Texas.

  I met clint at a Katy High School talent show. (1979) He was very humble and obviously very talented. He didn't win the contest, but I he definitely had the best act. You tell he had a real quality in his voice. I let him know afterwards. He was a real nice guy. That was my only interaction.  Years later, I went to work for Country Music Television. He was a guest on Prime Time Country with Gary Chapman. I thought about saying hello, but decided to leave him be since we never were friends. "Hi Clint. We have so much in common. Katy of course. And... You make music and I listen to music. We are practically twins."

  Clint had the hottest songs in country..back 90s...I was #1 dj at kase in austin...he is right up there with Alan and george

  We played “ I don’t need your rocking chair “ at my father’s funeral..  good to hear Mr Black was a part of that “

  The 90’s were such an unbelievably wonderful time for country music. &nbsp;There’s no end to the number of talented singers and musician we had then. &nbsp;It’s sad how far down it’s gone.
