What pisses me off with these cases is the defendants go on to live full lives before being convicted

It is hard for me to believe that this is his only victim.

I grew up in Mcallen and have heard about this case several times. So happy she finally got justice but so upset that this man got to live a full life before being convicted.

They moved and protected him, resulting in Irene’s death. The church is also responsible for that poor woman’s death. RIP Irene.

The people who protected him from justice are sickening.

I'm so glad the DA who refused to take the case was voted out of office by the good citizens. He was so transparent in his loyalties, and showed he lacked the kind of moral and legal objectivity the people deserved.

A priest from my Catholic school was just convicted and put in prison this year for crimes against boys in my school which i attended until 1985, my dear friend was one of his victims, and he is a complete mess from that trauma to this very day....I can imagine how many victims NEVER SEE JUSTICE....because my friends' scars are SO VISIBLE to this day...Im glad this, person, for lack of a better word, got his, no matter how long it took, and may God rest her soul and her family find peace now...such a tragic story of a beautiful soul

I am beyond disgusted at how the church and the legal system failed Irene Garza but protected that monster. There's so much blood on their hands....

Several days later Feit was arrested. I was there when he was being sentenced I said a small prayer God whatever the outcome I’ll accept it! Jury came back took their sits and sentenced was read life in prison! I lost it finally justice for Irene it took 57 yrs. So grateful to God he answered me!

I really wonder sometimes if evil people use faith and churches to hide behind. It's sad and truly disgusting. Rest in peace, Irene.
